Hello Ed.
After an overnight charge it works fine and does spin the engine smartly. Guess this will just push me to put in either a charger connector or boost plug.
 
Did get it up to bring it home today. Just a 15 minute flight. Nice smooth day temps a bit above 0C. However on base for short final on the lake at about 500 feet, the engine quit. First time I've ever seen a stationary prop while flying. I was set up for a power off approach anyway so the landing was uneventful. Engine started fine after landing so I suspect carb ice cause I didn't put carb heat on.
My wife got this picture after I rolled to a stop in front of the house.
 
Next project is to change the muffler set up. This machine is REALLY noisy. Before buying a spin tech, I may experiment with feeding my tuned pipe after it merges, into the heavy, stock exhaust manifold.
