Greetings,

Actually, I'm asking about a pump to transfer fuel from my new truck's 34 gallon tank, to the plane.  Being able to measure the amount of fuel transferred would be a real bonus.  Someone told me that Wick's had one, but I never could find it online.  Anyone know of such a pump?  I'm sure I can cobble something together, but if there's one already made to do this, I would probably go that route.  Being able to run 87 octane is going to be one of the benefits of getting rid of the turbo.

On another fuel note, I was complaining earlier about my 2-stroke oil separating from the fuel, but I think I was mistaken.  After 4 months, my oil was still very well mixed in the plane, so I think the problem was that I didn't get the oil mixed in the first place before.  I had added the full tank's worth of oil when it was basically empty.  I figured that filling the tank, and taxiing back to the hanger would mix it, but I guess it didn't.  I now believe that mixing it well the first time is the key.

Cheers,
Rusty (filling that 34 gallon tank will be painful)
