I have a young professional pilot I know from FB and the Velo list who purchased Velocity SE with a rotary package. He is VERY motivated to sell the engine and all related parts. He has restored a couple of EZ’s.
It has Tracy’s PSRU, controller, monitor, IVO Prop (IIRC), engine mount (flat mount to firewall so may work on several birds) 13b. He may have tried to reach out in others ways but I promised I’d post here. I believe he is asking $10k and I’m all but certain there is room in the price. If I had the disposable cash, I’d buy it as even though I moved from the rotary, I still love and miss the engine. If I build a second plane with a different mission (perhaps a BD 4) I may go all in on a rotary...this time with a way less steep learning curve ;-) He has spoken to a few interested parties but nothing has happened yet. Many want to break apart the package (especially the redrive) but he does not want to go this route and have sale linger on individual items). It seems a good package and is all but ready to fly.
