Neil, Dave, et al
A little slower here.--- In addition to the resistance or a pot, there are a couple of factors that  you need to know when selecting one.
1. number of turns (of the knob)
2. Linear or logarithmic (the latter not as common, however important to get the right one)
3. size, both the device and neck.
4. whether wire wound, carbon or unobtanium makes little difference.

Best to look at the one you are replacing for some sort of mfgr # and google it to get an identical replacement.

Dave,

First I believe that acetone will dissolve super
glue??  Havn't tried myself.

second, any trimpot with the desired  ohms should do the trick. Having
said that I was sent a trim pot to fit the microtech ECU, looked good
but altered nothing, possibly the wrong one.

Third, Dave just what mods have you done to your turbo to keep it in one
piece?

Neil.
