Tank to tank makes an efficient diffuser difficult.

There are cheaper versions of the Scirocco rad with 2" thick cores, if 
you think that would be enough core volume. Dennis H. is using a 
Scirocco for his Renesis; perhaps he'll see this thread & tell you his 
core thickness.
