Steve,
I’ve seen a warning about counterfeit NKG plugs on an aviation forum but don’t remember which one. They identified a couple of marking differences but I don’t remember the details. One thing I do remember is the washer was loose in the box or could easily be removed from the plug. NKG washers are not easily removed. A Google search turns up more information about how to identify counterfeit NKG plugs. Bobby Sent from my iPad

Thanks Dave.
Yes, I have been using the gap they came with too, but I thought I should challenge my assumptions.
You’ve got a heap of hours so Im happy with that gap then.
The only other thing that I thought I should check is having purchased a new set, are there cheap knockoffs on the market, or am I safe in believing they are likely quality NGK’s?
Does anyone know of counterfeit plugs?

Thats a good question. I use those too, but just assumed that they came pre gapped. As they wear, I try to keep them near the original gap.

Hi guys
I don’t think I’ve ever clarified what gap others are using with the BR10EIX plugs?
Would appreciate what you’ve found.
