Having done further testing this morning (replaced head unit and checked = wiring) with no joy I will remove the EC3 and install our EC2 which = previously had a functioning coil diagnostic routine. The other thing that currently is not functioning on ther EC3 is the = Autotune.=20 Now I do recall Autotune functioning but I cant remember if this was = when I had the EC2 installed or after swapping it out for the EC3. I shall find out when I get a moment to head down to the airfield. And Bill, I checked my wiring on the D585 coils and I have earthed them = directly to the gearbox adapter plate.
