Le Roux,

You are no different to me in Australia -- a long way from anywhere.  In fact one wag called his farm "worlds end" so I am close!!!  I have never been in any discussion with a Plugs up engine, but I do recall it creates grief as well.  What do you do with the sump?  Sure anything can be altered, but every time you alter something it takes both time and money.  I no longer have either, so tend to keep it simple and standard where possible.  Welcome to the group, there are many brilliant minds here with lots of experience and great advice.

I have allready converted my 13B turbo model to a p port 44 mm inside diameter.
Regarding the slidethrottle and intakes i think i must go with a plugs up mount with a downdraft holley and leaning block.
Or if somebody on the group can helped me on the "plugs up topic." Has not scroll all the threads on the group yet - forgive me if it was an old topic.
Here in South Africa some of the websites are blocked by servers and can't get hold off more info.
I saw that David Gray bought Ed's bird ,saw a article years ago about his plugs up mount, is it still relevant? Seems much more practical for the exaust outlet and the correct intake runner length.
