I have used 0.6 oz per gallon for 7- 8 years and 850 hours of flying.  I use Wal Mart  2 stroke mixed 50/50 with Marvel Mystery oil. I also use 15-50 Mobil 1 Oil in the engine.    I get all my oil from Wal Mart.  I change oil and filter at 50 hours.   My engine is a 4 port RX-8 that came out of a car with less than 10,000 miles on it.   The engine is factory original and has not been taken apart.   The oil level in the pan increases about 1/2 quart in 50 hours.  The engine vent shows no sign of any oil blowing out.
