No issues. Now I'm using Walmart 2 stroke oil. If MMO were cheaper I'd probably use that or a 50/50 mix of MMO and 2 stroke oil Of course I don't run my engine hard, only full throttle on take-off. I would think that oil sump level rise would only be a function of amount mixed in the gas. I use 1 oz/gal or slightly less and do see rise of oil level. I would worry about lowering amount mixed -- I think we'll want an oil film on the walls/seals through the entire travel of the rotor including the portion between exhaust and intake. However, it's not clear to me how the excess oil gets scraped off and ends up in the sump. No scientific proof but I'm pretty sure it is basically Varsol (90%) masked by coloring and a perfume to disguise its true identity. You can add a little to your gasoline and even oil if you like but don't expect it to provide the lubrication needed that 2-cycle oil gives you in a premix. Lycomings have been eating Mystery oil for years but its purpose is to help remove or prevent deposits on valves ... > Jeff > > People use Marvel mystery oil? > - Matt Boiteau > > > -- > Homepage: http://www.flyrotary.com/ > Archive and UnSub: http://mail.lancaironline.net:81/lists/flyrotary/List.html >
