Welcome to the list David from 1:few members north-of-the-border.
Glad to hear you are going to resurrect Ed's RV-6; I was fortunate enough to
meet Ed once and bought one of his EFISM monitors.  My airframe is a "Chubby
Cubby" so can't help much with RV-6 matters but the engines all have a lot
in common.  Stay with it and good luck.
