I am in the middle of moving CAS units to the flex plate area.

I marked 25degrees BTDC on the flex = plate and installed the torsion damper.

I realized that if I turned the bolts that hold the damper to the flex= plate backwards with the nuts on the engine side of the flexplate I could = use one of the bolt locations as the trigger.

If=C2=A0 =C2=BE=E2=80=9D holes were drilled in the large plate t= he sensors could be mounted to the plate =C2=A0within the bolt circle of th= e damper.

Flipping the bolts moves = the steel material from the proximity of the sensor.

The sensor could also be shimmed outward to tune the gap.=

A trigger =C2=A0bracket could be s= ecured using one of the damper bolts.

It appears that the sensors will clear the gear reduction housing.

Any thoughts?
