 Do a search on "vw thermostat bellows" .
 You can mount it close to your heat source with a control rod leading to a 
vent door in the top of your cowl.
 When you park and the temp goes up, it will open the vent door and allow 
the hot air to escape.
 Once the temperature drops, it closes automatically.
