Ed, he is flying with less fuel.  He = had to=20 fly from Narsarsuaq, G to Kulusak, G. Then he = refueled=20 and pushed on to Reykjavik.  So he is = being=20 forced to plan shorter routes.

For those who were not in = the chain,=20 to recap - Max is still in Narsarsuaq,=20 Greenland.  Yesterday he discovered = a bad=20 fuel leak coming from under the = fuselage. =20 There was some damage to the skin but = nothing he=20 is too concerned with. He determined it = was a=20 fuel transfer pump from the 2 wing = tanks. =20 He is unable to fix this.  So he = plans to=20 fly with less fuel and therefore change = his=20 route to leap frog from shorter = distances rather=20 than longer stretches as he was = originally=20 planning.=20
 
I just heard from him in the past = 20=20 minutes and this is the latest = news: =20
He just this moment texted me and = said the=20 weather is looking good and he will most = likely=20 fly today up the coast of Greenland to = Kulusuk.=20 All the airports are closed on Sunday in = Greenland and he will attempt Monday or = Tuesday=20 to fly to Reykjavik, Iceland.
He = said he=20 slept very well and the last test flight = he did=20 yesterday it flew very well.

New news.

After a few sputz and spurts Max = started up=20 the engine and he did a test flight = around=20 Narsarsuaq, Greenland.  All seems = well and=20 it looks like he will embark on his = mission=20 tomorrow.  He seems to think the = problem=20 was water in the lines which has since=20 evaporated.
 
He posted a video of his first = starting of=20 the flieger and also some pics from his=20 flight.
