How did you do it? How did you block off the side irons? I doubt there is anything wrong with our timing or advance. I have a stock Renesis and I get EGTs from 1725 to the middle 1800s. How close to the engine are your probes? I normally see EGT's in the high 1750 F. during full power takeoff and early climb. It will go above 1800 F. if the mixture is real close to best power.
