He used two 13B's to make my 20B. The engine has 13B embosed on the sections but nothing is on the rear iron so I don't know what would fit there. I must assume it is the FC/FD pattern. How can I be sure what block I need? Robert On Fri, Oct 4, 2013 at 7:59 PM, Dale_R wrote: > Wow! Okay, here's the current situation: I have no fully completed blocks in= stock; and I'm probably a week short of completing my biennial refurb/= reorg/update of my shop. So the earliest I can supply any blocks will be ab= out the 22d of this month.

The Oil Distribution Blocks come in two flavors, FC/FD pattern (ODB01-A1) a= nd Renesis (ODB02-A1)- from the top, they are identical. They are designed = to receive oil from a remote mounted oil filter. Input on the -A1 models is= via a 1/2" NPTF port at the outboard end of the block (see photos). T= he block comes with two corrosion resistant cap screws as seen in the previ= ous photo, which - by the way - I forgot to credit to Bobby Hughes (Thank y= ou Bobby.) The blue AN8 fitting in the first photo is for illustration, and= is not included in the delivered product.

Charlie England asked if I made a direct mount oil filter that would clean = his cowl. In 2005, I did make one - see the second photo below - which put = the filter righ above the rear rotor's spark plug. It was ~way~ too exp= ensive to make to have any hope of marketing it, unless I could have them i= nvestment cast. That's not practical for less than 100 units.

Another question was what else I offer for the rotary. Initially, I replied= that I only made the oil blocks. I'd forgotten about the oil pump spac= er. See third photo. For that matter, I've made, but never sold, a bloc= k for the EGR port. I think anyone with a hacksaw, a file, and a hand drill= could make one (last photo.)

Anyway, for the rest of the year, the blocks are $55.00 - delivered to your= address. That's been the price since 2006. Specify whether or not it&#= 39;s for a Renesis, there's a 6.8mm difference in a critical dimension.=
