The oil adaptor is a 4" piece of machined aluminum w= ith male 18mm x 1.5mm threads at the engine port and screws directly to the= iron; the other end has female 3/8 pipe threads to take an AN-10 flared co= nnector/oil hose from cooler. I believe Jim M. at Racing Beat stated measure oil temp going into the engi= ne and water temp coming out of the engine. Currently oil goes into the en= gine at the oil line closest to the fly wheel location. I have a remote fil= ter mounted to Tracy's plate and want to place the sensor on the output of = the filter with a short hose going into the engine. I am measuring water temp at the water pump housing coming out of the engin= e going into the rad. Thanks for any input.
