For non-turbo I use nil. So long as the two side seals and the corner seal will pop back up when depressed, that is enough clearance. Measure with the other side and corner seals in place. Clean the grooves with a piece of broken side seal, sharpened and wrapped with tape. Wear gloves in case you break your side seal tool. If the seals are a bit short and will not lay in the grooves, just stretch them a bit. Study the handedness of the oil scraper drive springs. New springs have paint dots to show a front or a rear scraper spring. The springs keep the scrapers from walking backwards as the engine runs. This will wear out the "O" rings and let the engine smoke. If using the old springs over again, the paint dots will be gone, so note that the end that is square goes against the scraper and catches in one of the many notches in the back of the scraper spring. The end that is rounded catches in the shallow holes in the bottom of the groove in the rotor. It is easier to learn if you mark the rotation direction on each rotor face. If you can turn the scraper in the opposite direction with the spring installed, you have the wrong spring installed.
