Hi,
I am trying to put together an engine monitor to measure oil temp, oil pres=
sure, water temp, water pressure, fuel pressure, EGTs, tach,air pressure (f=
or delta P across the rad).  I am using an EC4 to get the P Port running an=
d will switch to something else (EC-3) for flight.  Sending units need to b=
e as close to working values as possible.  The GM temp sensor looks like it=
 will work for water and oil and i got a program working using an arduino b=
oard USBed to my PC.  The VDO 360-009 0-80PSI looks like it would work for =
oil pressure and the VDO 360-043 Looks like it would work for water pressur=
e. 0-30psi.  What is every one using for fuel pressure?  I believe the targ=
et is 38 psi for the pumps that John used.  I found an app for apple device=
s that displays data and gets it via wifi.  There is a wifi sheild for the =
arduino so it looks doable.  Thought it would work while I dial in the P Po=
rt.  Can the  engine monito and ECU share sensor inputs?  Does there need t=
o be signal conditioning?  Appreciate any help / input.
