Hello All, I was going to post on Fathers day, but figured I'd wait.

Here is a picture of the 13 mounted, exhaust manifold and turbo in (temporary hardware minus gaskets), intake mockup, in the works, side alternator bracket mocked up (different hardware wanted)

I have my intercooler and oil cooler ready for some trial fits, but best of all, I know where my bounds are.  I'm going to use a custom radiator mounted in the same manner as Tracy's 8, intercooler slung under and behind the starter and the oil cooler will be in the nostril on the pilot's left.  Ducting will leave the oil cooler bathe the turbo and wastegate and dump overboard around the exhaust.

Calculations on nostril size have not started.  I will likely open the bottom "intake" for more intercooler air, but won't need much as I'm limiting to 5psi boost and the charge air should be fairly tame.

The alternator is a 60 amp mini denso one-wire (unless I can figure out to wire my external voltage regulator)

No muffler will be installed unless it will fit under the cowl ( or mostly) and the only one im looking at is the aeroturbine.

The upper cowl is in place but I'm still unsure of the upper cowl hardware I will be using the prop is in the mail, the lower cowl is getting close.  Once the prop is here I will try the stack-up and see what I need to do with the cowl split, as well as the sides and bottom of the lower cowl.

I will be using a 13 inch UHS spinner that has already been balanced and trimmed for a 3 bladed IVO with electric stack-up (in flight adjustable ready but ground adjustable for phase 1)

I'm tempted to flash a photo on VAF but won't  do that until it gets interesting.

Regards
Bill Mason
