T= he rotor housings are NA and it has four port irons, but I can't figure out w= hat is going on here. =20 >=20 > What is this iron off of? The picture is of the oil filter mount area on t= he rear iron. >=20 > The two oil holes from the filter mount have been plugged by the previous o= wner with Allen plugs and the filter holder bolt hole (if I'm right-- seems t= o have been filled. Another oddity is that there is only one bolt mount and= not two. I have not yet removed one of the allens to see if the holes are t= hreaded-- I should hope that has been done as nothing else would possibly be= adequate. There seems to be an open route to the front iron when I blow co= mpressed air through the oil return line or the oil pressure port. =20 >=20 > It was my understanding that oil had to flow through the area... Out of t= he rear iron through the filter, back into the rear iron... then through the= irons/rotor housings along the top to the turbo supply fitting next to the C= AS and splitting off down into the front iron. I understand too that much o= f the oil returns to the pan through the oil pressure regulator. =20 >=20 > What have I got here?
