This would be especially useful at idle if you were set at 58 lbs. Injectors are flow rated at about 43.5 lbs, so at 58 they would put out more fuel than they were rated for, which could make getting your idle set correctly a problem. Or maybe not?? I just saw it in a car magazine about an LS motor installation. Apparently, the pressure is set at ~58 lbs, but that's the approximate set point for RX-8 cars, right? I've already set up my dual fuel pumps, dual GM filters as used by Ed A, and an aftermarket 'hot rod' adjustable regulator, but this device looks attractive. The weight savings (& money savings) seem to make it an attractive option.The only downside that's immediately comes to mind is whether the entire assembly must be replaced to change the filter.
