Bob, first I had a overflow/coolant tank on the firewall, it was plumbed into the filler plug hole and the drain hole, each of these locations are very close to the Ring gear in the housing and both locations will pump oil out of the gearbox.  Now I will plumb the cooler, item nr. 259-13210, a two pass power steering cooler in Jegs Catalog, it is on page 274-R in the new catalog, out the drain hole in the bottom front and return it to the vent location on the top of the housing by way of a tee which will connect to the vent tank I had installed and working okay when the seal blew out.  The vent location is in the main body of the redrive and away from the ring and pinion. JohnD

On your Marcotte, where are you placing the inlet/outlet fittings for the oil cooler?  Does the oil circulate naturally, or do you have to install a pump?

Thanks
