It shortens= the interval if run hard or all slow city traffic. It looks to me that the= algorithm is basically just measuring the total amount of fuel burned. I g= ave my daughter a 70 something Datsun that had 410k before the front seat wo= uld no longer support the driver. I can only assume she took my advice on o= il to use.
