Yeah, Charlie,  I remember taking off from Lower Slobovia in conditions about like that {:>).

I recall taxing early that morning to refuel at Franks place and the wheels were not rolling but sliding on the newly cut grass - a bit hard to turn. On take off, the extra drag caused by up hill, non-rolling wheels, etc made for sloooowwww acceleration - about the time I was considering aborting, I hit a bump and began wallowing in the air, so decided the worst part was over and remained airborne.  That was an interesting trip out west with you and Tracy.

Ok, Ok, that photo does show a bit more water than then.
