Maybe I over think things but this has been bothering me.

 

The injectors in the Renesis sit on a little rubber doughnut that makes a seal between them and the intake manifold.  Under some vacuum, the rubber doughnut would be sucked down and probably make a seal.  Even at WOT there would be a little suction and for sure, no positive pressure.

I am not so sure that the doughnut would make a seal under 4 or 5 pounds of pressure.  In fact, when you climbed to altitude, the pressure differential would be even higher.  Close to 10 lbs at 10K feet.  How would you effect a proper seal on these doughnuts under boost??

 

You could lose a lot of your hard earned pressure with a leak as large as these could be.

 

Do turbo’ed 13Bs have a different method of securing the injectors than the Renesis?
