My MAP lines are nowhere near my exhaust, so I don't have a problem
with melting the lines. In your case I would suggest using steel or
SS tubing (brake line is available in various lengths at most auto
parts stores) in the really hot areas. I would also use a heat shield
to guard the MAP line from infra red heat.

aluminum tube. That conducted the heat better, and caused it to melt faster.
The package said it was high temp, but I don't think they anticipated the
rotary version of high temp.
