Bouncing around what to do about monitoring my single rotor, on the
ground and in flight, I looked at a zillion of possibilities. Non met my
requirements of being simple and affordable and still doing the job. I
even went so far as building a timer for my small camera taking a
picture every few seconds. I never finished it.
Now I discovered GoPro, and suddenly my problems were solved.
The first picture is what the camera is taking, and the second is zoomed
in to whatever I want to look at.
The camera is clipped to my front harness taking pictures at the rate I
set it to.
I think every first flight should have it so the pilot does not have to
worry about not reading engine data, and can safely fly the airplane.
Go to GoPro.com for spec.
I like that. All except that VSI. It would be much nicer if that needle was pointed a little higher 8*) I do like
where the ASI is moving, though.
