The one I flew in was the Electronic Warfare version called the EB-66. There were two models, an E model with only three crew - all up front and basically jammed to the gill with jammers. The C model carried a crew of 6 (4 EWs in the old bomb bay and pilot and nav up front). Bat 21 was the C version. I in Bat22 was flying an E version that day. Hard to believe all of that was over 40 years ago for me this year. Some things always stay fresh in you mind. Welcome, Doug - a honor to serve and would do it again - although if the nation really needs my old butt again, we would have to be in serious trouble {:>) Ed -------------------------------------------------- From: Sent: Saturday, March 17, 2012 12:56 PM To: "Rotary motors in aircraft" Subject: [FlyRotary] Ed Anderson's old "ride", off topic > I'm on a trip to Robins AFB, Macon, GA and we broke today so went over to > see their aviation musuem.
