All,

I finished tearing down a 13B FD yesterday and discovered that one of the chrome faces on my intermediate housing is badly gouged, like a corner seal came loose and was dragged around by the rotor.  The gouge isn’t deep but I suspect it will disrupt the seal if I leave it untouched.

Is anyone aware of a vendor that can resurface that face?

If not, does anyone have a source for a replacement intermediate housing?

BTW, thanks for all the suggestions about how to remove the rear cover nut.  Obviously they helped.
