I have my insurance with SkySmith as
well. I am flying a Lancair. It is sometimes difficult to get coverage for
them and with the rotary engine… but they never blinked! Price the same
as a neighbor’s RV-7 with a Lycosaurus.

You might try SkySmith - I have had my rotary insured with
them for around 5 years. However, they generally want to know if you are
using Real World Solutions products - Tracy's products apparently have gained
a good reputation with SkySmith

Hi,
I have a Velocity XL-RG with a firewall aft setup from
Geared Drives. I'm about ready to get final FAA signoff and do the test flight.
Has anyone had good luck finding insurance? I tried EAA/Falcon and they were
not interested due to the auto engine.
