The new sensor is in, MegaSquirt is recalibrated to it, and operation is
verified (at least for the one static temperature). Even the wiring
ended up being cleaner. Thanks again, Brian.

I have an oil temp sensor in the end of my remote oil-filter mount.
Staring at it last night, it is not really protruding into the oil
flow. It sits back in a sort of sheltered alcove. I think my oil
temp readings may be skewed to the cool side by the arrangement.
I'd like to move it to the 1/2" aluminum block that covers the filter
mount on the engine, but drilling and tapping the block for a 1/8th NPT
hole would leave very little aluminum on the top and bottom of the
block to hold the
sensor. Does anyone have a spare 93-99 Manifold Air Temp Sensor that
they wouldn't mind parting with? They look like this:
