Subject: [FlyRotary] Oil temp sensor
I have an oil temp sensor in the end of my remote oil-filter mount.
Staring at it last night, it is not really protruding into the oil
flow.  It sits back in a sort of sheltered alcove.  I think my oil
temp readings may be skewed to the cool
 side by the arrangement.
I'd like to move it to the 1/2" aluminum block that covers the filter
mount on the engine, but drilling and tapping the block for a 1/8th NPT
hole would leave very little aluminum on the top and bottom of the block to hold the
sensor.  Does anyone have a spare 93-99 Manifold Air Temp Sensor that
they wouldn't mind parting with?  They look like this:
