Yes, after coming back from Vietnam, I got involved in Technical Intelligence (foreign material exploitation mainly) - I am one of those few who really have been to Area 51 - at that time we had a squadron of soviet Mig fighters and other soviet equipment (like SAMS) that we spent untold hours and $$ understanding them and their weak points.  Needless to say, it was critical that the Soviets not know what we had or were doing or they would have taken counter action - like changing there IFF frequency, missile guidance codes, etc.

I had a great Air Force career - not a boring job in 26 years.
