Has anybody heard anything from Dave since
the crash at Reno?
I hope he was not close enough to be injured!
It appears that flutter might have taken
the elevator trim tab off the plane, throwing it into a loop and crash. It is
not apparent to me that the pilot had the ability to do anything but call a
Mayday.

Aggressive Formation: Learning to Race at Reno
For those that have not seen this.........If you look closely as the video plays
you
will see brief glimpses of our
very own Dave Leonard and his Turbo/13B
RV6
during race school last month..........Dave
is competing in the sportsman
class
this week at Reno............He
qualified at almost 230 mph and as far as I
know his
airplane is the first Rotary powered A/C to race at Reno..........
