Dave,
Glad to hear that Mike's RV-4 will remain in the hands of someone close
to our little Rotary community and will be back in the air.......Like many of our
group I never met Mike but shared several E mails with him over the years
and was instrumental in his choice of the 18 inch "Mustang 1 & 2" spinner
which I think added to his sleek engine cowl.............Also glad you will be at
the controls for initial flights of Mike's beautiful ship...........

Yes,
I sort of nudged Paul in that direction when I heard Mikes beautiful workmanship was going to be parted out. I have been giving him a little bit of help to get it all back together (after being shipped across the country and back). It is almost ready to fly, and I will be flying the first several hours until we can get Paul checked out in an RV.
I enjoy seeing Paul become part of the RV crowd.
But I do miss Mike.

Can anyone confirm that Paul Lamar is now the owner of the Mike Wills RV-4?
He has just started showing up on the VAF Alternative Engines forum and said he had a rotary RV-4, and there aren't too many of those around; so just curious...
