If that is also a Mazda Trix part you have to ask them. I never heard of a competition thrust bearing. Always used the stock part. Never a problem.

Another question regarding the trust bearing.  Since my search for a cross referenced part has hit an impasse, I am likely gonna delay my front components/cover install and order the bearings through Mazdatrix tomorrow, baring my finding good information.  My question is any big difference between what is listed as the standard bearing and the "competition" bearing...especially since the competition bearing is cheaper by a few bucks.  Is "Competition" a brand name?
