Great, I have the flange-to-gear teeth measurement on the current starter, to compare to the turbo starter when it comes in.  The other thing you will have to check is the direction of rotation.  Another solution is to mill down the adapter plate and start flange to get it to stick out another 0.37.  Could probably get away with 0.17 on each for a total of 0.34.

from the "ACT" flywheel manuf. about the 9.8 lb flywheel ring gear teeth # but my bet is it is the
same as the 13.8 lb flywheel with 2 more lbs whittled off of it !!...............
