You might want to google JDM (Japanese domestic market) mazda engines. There are places that import front clips- entire front ends of cars from Japan. These have everything included, so you can usually purchase an RX-7 front end for under $2000 and then sell everything else you don't need on E-bay. I got a 93 13BREW engine with all the accessories for $850, and sold all the accessories for around $500, and then rebuilt the engine, which looked like new inside.

Subject: [FlyRotary] New to List - A Question to Get Started

Howdy, All,

New to the list and interested in knowing more about the Rotary installation process, I would like to know the recommended places to purchase an engine core. I have been looking through a number of websites searching for information, most of which begins after a builder has procured a core. I would imagine local junkyards, but how about the online vendors, Ebay, etc.?

Thanks very much - I look forward to hearing what y'all have to say and learning more.

Regards,

Cedric Gould
