Subject: [FlyRotary] EGT and EM2

I have written about this before but continue to have issues.

My EGT readings are inconsitant.  They seem to give what would seem to be a correct reading but then seem to cycles to much higher readings.  So, it may show 1500 but then jump to 3000, then 6500 then 7200 (or whatever) and then start from what seems to be low to high.

I have not been sitting on my hands fretting.  I had sent the unit back to Tracy and mentioned it and he found nothing amiss.  Since then I have replaced all connections to the EM2, new thermalwire, new connectors and now new sensors from "thesensorconnnection" all to no avail.  While not flight essential, I hate that I can't solve the problem.  I tire of throwing money and time at it.  I have looked at grounds, redid connections and tried a few different connections methods (where I connect the thermal wire from the EM2 to the thermalwire from the actual EGT connector.

This is becomeing a real annoyance.  I am currently finishing up my A/C install (95% done) and them I am back to my first squawk list...quite short now) before I have a squawk "party...yeah, yall are all invited....not time, just show up, I will do what I can to make it a party ;-)) before I pay a DAR.

Ya'll's input is appreciated.
