How do I tell if I have the correct version ? I bought it about Sept,
2003,
and the serial number is #436.
If it's not the correct version, what does it take to upgrade it. ?

Forgot to answer "what does it take". If you are comfortable changing PLCC
chips (in sockets) I can send you the chips. Otherwise send the box
back and we'll do it. Cost of latest version is $45 + shipping. Free
with purchase of EM2.
