I'd love to have a good tangential solution. =A0Mistral had develo= ped one before they declared bankruptcy. =A0But, their engineer told me tha= t they were loosing at least 5 HP with it. =A0So, if I am ignorant, I am ha= ppy to be corrected. =A0

I presume that you have shared your design before? =A0Can I find in in= the archives? =A0I am not a welder, so I have to hire any welding that nee= ds to be done, so the cost of an Inconel device will be quite pricy, I pres= ume. =A0

Burns Stainless wrote back to me and wants me to send the failed muffl= er to them for analyses. =A0Should be interesting. =A0

3. =A0At 50% power, my fuel flow is 11 GPH rich and 9= GPH lean.
This doesn=92t se= em right =96 at 50% power my 20B will run 9-10 gph leaned.

The tangential style mufflers are too power-robbin= g
My 20B got 265= hp at 6300 rpm on the dyno with the tangential muffler and secondary reson= ator. With 9.0 : 1 rotors and normally aspirated that=92s not all bad.
But perhaps mo= re importantly I now have 213 hour on the inconel tangential and 321 SS sec= ondary; and they are still in good condition. And it is reasonably quiet.
