If your air filter & plumbing add more than 1/2 " Hg pressure drop then it should be thrown out and replaced. If the blower doesn't add more than that, it's the same story!
But I sure want to hear how well it does work.

Ernest,

The MP measures after the air filter, and any other restriction I, by necessity or stupidity, include in the intake system, with two rotors trying to suck a vacuum. The blower is trying to add back some air pressure to that vacuum that is being sucked. What is the contribution of the blower?
Another option I have is to disconnect and turn around the air filter, and cap the blower. Then the engine will be sucking ambient air pressure, and I could use a separate gauge to measure the static pressure of the blower. Hmm? Maybe that is the way to go.
