Could someone tell me what engine a 1980 RX7 has? Was it a
12A, or had they switched to 13B's yet?
That would be a
12A. The first 13B engines in the RX-7 were in the 84 and 85 GSL-SE
model. They were also the first fuel injected engines. All RX-7's
from 86 to 01 had some form of 13B.
