I have a Catto 76X88 composit 2 blade propeller on my Renesis powered RV-7A.  Last time I tried a full power static RPM test was in June -  OAT 90 deg. Relative Humidity 70%.   My static was 5730 RPM.  The cord on my prop is 6.0 inches max.

My cruise #'s  at 9500 ft. alt. returning from New Mexico to Austin last week were: RPM - 6181; MP - 20.2 in hg. (not quite full throttle); 172 mph TAS; fuel flow 9.3 gph;  H2O - 177 deg;  oil - 191 deg.  OAT was about 75 deg.

Does anyone have similar numbers for RV-6 or 7's with rotary engines they would share for comparson?

Thanks,

Dennis Haverlah

Ed,

I checked today, and mine has an 8.25 (quickly measured, not accurately) cord.  Time will tell about what RPM I get and if I will have to trim the prop.  I’m reminded of the line from the movie “Guys and Dolls”.  I don’t think I want to take the bet and end up with an ear full of cider.

I got the new radiator today, so bracket construction and installation can begin.

Chris
