HI Jeff,
Here;s how it works... regardless of your subscription
mode, the act of having a subscription allows you to send emails to the list. The different modes affect only how messages are delivered to you at the
subscribed email address. Here's how they work.......
Feed mode... you get each individual message as soon as it is sent in
Digest mode... you get one large message each morning that contains all the individual messages that were sent in the prior day
Index
mode... you get one teeny message each morning that contains only an index (ie, list of subjects) of the messages that were contained in that
day's digest
Null mode... no messages of any kind are sent to your subscribed email address. You can still post. This is for
people who prefer to always check messages in the online archive and reply only to those things they find of interest. Also useful as a
"vacation" subscription method, switch to it when leaving for vacation, switch back on your return. Lets you use the archive when you feel like
without cancelling your subscription (as well as your ability to post).
The List only accepts inbound emails from subscribed email
addresses.
I hope this helps. Let me know what method you'd prefer and I'll get your subscription setup accordingly.

What is the difference between Digest and Index? - I
just re-subscribed to the Digest. I was subscribed to the LIST for a long time but cancelled several months ago due to too many
messages coming into my email account at work. I want to participate in the forum but without as many emails ... please advise best
method. Thank You Jeff Whaley
