The big
issues are
that the specific heat (heat carrying capacity) of oil is about half
that of
water; so you would need very high flow rate, which is a double problem
since
the viscosity is much higher, the pumping power required is very large.
Thanks for pointing that out! The old "if it would work, someone would
be doing it already" seems to apply here.
