No argument with that Michael. My adrenaline seeking is more tempered with experience now as well. I am all about minimizing risk where possible. Looking back, it is amazing I'm still in one piece. I certainly don't want to loose any more friends. We should all be cognizant of danger. Fear gives you an edge. Do as much as humanly possible to mitigate the risks, just don't stop living.

I don't have kids, If I did my attitude would probably be a bit different until they were self sustaining.

Oh don't get me wrong... I agree with you.....I have no quarrel with your argument,

Even though I admit that my own tolerance for adrenalin has diminished a bit after more than a few close calls and the indiscretions of my youth. Suffice it to say some of them involved motorcycles and trigger happy South-American police.

To each his own. Call me boring, but these days I usually try to keep the adrenalin rush to a minimum when flying. Keeping a clear focus without adrenalin appears to be a large enough challenge for me.

And there is the aspect of our responsibility to those who love us and depend on us sticking around at least for a little while longer even thought that challenge is at times unbearable drudgery.

Its bad enough when the grim reaper claims the likes of George Graham and Bob White by so called natural causes. I for one do not intend to make it easier for him.

So let's make sure we cross our Ts and dot our Is so we get a better chance to stay around a bit to enjoy the fruit of or labor and live to play an other day.

Michael
