Being glider rated myself (I'm mean = really), I've always enjoyed sailing in one of the units (as opposed to = doing it in an RV-6a) - always felt I could put one down safely almost = anywhere and walk away - but clearly as this incident with Mike shows - = anytime you depart on a flight, you never know for certain the outcome.
