I have been running those mufflers since the first start of my motor. My ap= plication is probably not as harsh on mufflers as the rotary but=2C I built= a pretty stout V-8 using thermal barrier coatings on the pistons tops=2C c= ombustion chambers and exhaust ports and I routinely set the EGT limit on t= ake off at around 1700 f. My probe is in the collector and a foot or so fro= m the muffler so it does live a rough life. They are looking damn good for = coming up on 400 hours of extreme abuse.
